Draft now

Draft sandbox, on the homepage

Experiment below, search by champion or role, place picks and bans, show flex and build intent, undo, and export the board. If you want to sanbox with a friend, try the "create private room" button.

A complete drafting workbench

Search and filter the champion roster, place picks and bans, undo decisions, reset the board, and export the draft as JSON. The interactive League draft sandbox loads here when JavaScript is available.

Core planning workspace

Draft every outcome you care about

Sandbox Drafts turn one-off experiments into a working library. Group your drafts together, prepare several approaches at once, plan your roles, builds, and champion context behind a plan.

Open Sandbox Drafts

Sandbox Drafts workspace

View Sandbox Drafts workspace
Sandbox Drafts workspace showing many editable Standard, Fearless, and Ironman planning boards, with one Matchday preparation draft expanded to reveal role and build detail.
Compare preparation boards, then expand one to inspect the role flexes and build profiles behind a planned pick before the series starts.

League of Legends Tier List Maker

View League of Legends Tier List Maker
Tier List Maker with five ranked champion rows, highlighted S-tier picks, role and build badges, spaced synergy and counter pairings, palette controls, and a searchable champion catalog.
Rank patch priorities on a configurable board, keep role and build context on key champions, and reuse the result as preparation for draft branches.

Champion priorities

Build your tier list in detail

Turn a patch read into an savable champion ranking for your audience or team. Name the board, record patch, region, and team context, and tune the grade rows. Add synergies and counter groups, and add role or build intent to the champions that need it.

Live drafting

Run any format you need

Quick-start from a preset or customise the room for unique practice. Switch sides, first-pick preference, use champion pools and use a private team chat so everyone can communicate without navigating from the screen.

Take notes, save the draft, ... there's a lot of features.

Standard

A traditional game, no special changes

Fearless

Carry previous picks into the ban pool so every game asks for deeper answers.

Ironman

Carry previous picks and bans across the series for the ultimate test of your drafting skills

Custom

Choose game count, timers, first-pick side, format, patch context, champion restrictions, and room access when a fixed preset is not enough.

Fearless live series

View Fearless live series
Wide Fearless draft room with an active game in a multi-game series, showing the champion-select board, shared room actions, champion availability, and a chronological event trail.
Run a Fearless series from one room while side access, champion lockouts, game state, and the event trail carry into the next live draft.

Decision context

Draft with roles and builds in view

Preserve why a flex matters and attach build intent while the pick is live, so the reasoning behind every champion choice stays visible.

Role and flex assignment

View Role and flex assignment
Cassiopeia’s expanded pick plan showing Top as the primary role and Jungle selected second as a flex in the open role strip.
Assign Top as Cassiopeia’s primary role and retain Jungle as a flex so the board shows the team’s intended ambiguity.

Build profiles

Keep build intent with the pick

Flexibility doesn't just relate to the role, builds significantly change how a champion plays, what they do, and how to respond. We add that detail.

We added 11 build intentions based on our frontier drafting model. Each build was designed to capture a unique build direction over a group of item types, for more info read our article on builds.

Reusable player champion pools

View Reusable player champion pools

Select the active pool for each player, then use those picks as the only available champions during live drafting.

Team preparation

Teams, Sets and Grouped Pools

Create re-usable champion pools for each player, or champion sets so you can draft with the constraints of your favourite region. Create team pools so you can optimise your drafting experience, to only show the champions your players have in their pools.

Post-live Simulated Drafts archive

After live drafting, review completed games side by side, open one for role-by-role detail, and follow neighbouring games as a connected series.

After the live room

Store completed live drafts forever

Simulated Drafts is the step after live drafting. Completed drafts land in a searchable archive so you can compare linked games, reopen role detail, and review how the series changed.

League draft tool FAQ

What teams usually need to know

Do I need an account to draft?
No. You can access any draft and the custom tool for free, this means access to standard, fearless and iron-man drafts; along with using the custom tool to optimise the rules.
What is the difference between Sandbox Drafts and Simulated Drafts?
Sandbox Drafts are editable planning boards you prepare and revisit. Simulated Drafts are the post-live draft archive: completed room games become review material, rather than another place to begin a draft.
Does it support Fearless and Ironman drafting?
Yes. Standard, Fearless, and Ironman quick starts are available above the sandbox.
Can I export my data or access it from an API?
Not yet. Future updates will include the ability to export all of your data from storage so you can perform your own analysis.
Can I store drafts without an account?
Yes. While you're signed out, sandbox drafts and completed live drafts are stored in this browser with no set expiry. They will not sync to another browser or device. You will lose them if you clear this site's data; drafts created in private browsing are deleted when that session ends, and browsers may also remove stored site data. Create an account to import them into your personal library.
